"Studs get stung"

Films: 1313-Giant Killer Bees (2011)

Alias: None

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an small dogs.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Ah, David DeCoteau. This odd and rather incompetent director is the brains behind many MANY works of schlock, some of which we have covered here. But one thing is for certain. He likes two things in his movies. Those being a bunch of shirtless young people being homoerotic as all Hell (there are just some creeps who love to fetishize that stuff) and his actors doing absolutely nothing to pad out the film. Also, there are monsters occasionally.

History: So David’s home-I mean, a secretive lab within a fancy house has a secret. The current experiment involves genetically altered killer bees. But as one might guess, this backfires almost instantly, as the bees grow to gigantic size, and their venom starts turning people into mindless zombie drones. For the youngsters staying here, this is definitely not a good thing.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: By the time there is only one survivor, everyone has been turned into drones. The most we can hope for is that the world at large will dispose of the bees and their new slaves as quickly as possible.

Powers/Abilities: The bees' venom is able to paralyze the mind of a person, and turn them into zombie-like drones that eat other people. That, or they just bite and let the venom do its thing on others.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-Bees that turn people into empty shells of their former selves? That must be the scariest thing that ever-oh wait, no. The CGI is so bad that not even Syfy would want anything to do with it. There is NOTHING in this film that looks competent in the slightest. Even the drones just look like bored shirtless teens. Because that's exactly what they are.

Trivia: -DeCoteau is nothing but a creep.

A lazy creep, we may add.

You forgot "A Talking Cat". Kind of a red flag.
Maybe replacing mail owls with giant bees was a sub-optimal plan.
